The Gentlemen of Essex Cricket Club

The Gentlemen of Essex Cricket Club is over 100 years old, we have approximately 250 playing and non-playing members and play up to 20 fixtures a year against local cricket playing schools, local cricket clubs and similar traditional clubs like the Gents of Essex. 

Our current fixture list can be seen on the Fixtures page, results for the current season can be seen at the Results tab of the Fixtures page, with individual match reports at the Match Reports tab.   

Membership of the Club is by invitation of the committee only and is restricted to those born or permanently reside in the County of Essex.

This website is intended to provide playing, non playing and prospective members with information about the club, forthcoming fixtures, results and news during the year.
